RE: Poems of Moon - DrakeDamage - 30.01.2019 Tale of the sun and the moon Wind blows across the mountains bending the trees along its way with the sun setting down to rest after a long day Her golden glow turns carmin shade pulling the light out of the sky yet still some must pervade otherwise only darkness would remain Little sparks of life yet unknown in death of the night prevail For the voyage of the moon they wait till time beckons for them to set sail Stream of silvery light lining the path the moon follows to never stray for it is afraid of the past and past it shall forever stay memory begs to be forgotten but eyes of the beholder tell the tale of the distance between the sun and the moon of their radiant glow that turned pale Every fire and flame will succumb the gluttonous dark will consume all in its path where life started there will be an end The moon knew too late and gave into its wrath And the moon turned, hid from the light wanted to shine on its own but could not She tried to take the shine as her own but it was given to the sun and the sun alone For her to share but keep safe as well only she could hold the precious flame but the moon blinded in fury and greed refused the dark seeped into her soul and fused No longer was the moon there only nightmare remained fed with anger and pain and so much blame Now only a shadow of the silvery dame Thus the sun took a step that filled her with shame She set the light free to burn away what shouldn't be with tears she watched the ashen soul wither away with cries that begged the life itself The sun did not move for seven nights until the final day Only then did she look up towards the sky where like a shadow a mirrored moon was seen and it stayed until the time of the star from the north Who listened to her heart and ventured forth The moon set course to her voyage and the tale came to an end but night will come back as will the day but when light is no more will the darkness leave as well will the sun make the same mistake and turn fey Only the moon knows and in faith she will wait RE: Poems of Moon - Joy144SK - 30.01.2019 Nádhera RE: Poems of Moon - DrakeDamage - 10.05.2019 Glass of water
Let the river flow the wind whispered in a matter more than despered as if stars would fall and sun were to freeze so grave and worried sounds the timid breeze Let the water be, there's nothing more to it don't stop nor bend the line of flow let it be free, let it go on its own and the water was no more, it was all a metaphore In tower high above castle grounds sits a pony of royal bounds reading lines from book about life and time pondering about its own time of prime A glass of water waits on a desk close by a thirst it hopes over course of time to satisfy but the pony hasn't moved for hours straight maybe tonight the glass's faith will be in vain There's another pony hidden in frame of spruce same as the reading mare but bound unable to cut loose a reflection, looming presence only the mare can see memory it is and memory it shall forever be Page turned, chapter ended, book descended onto the desk Mare streched, bones cracked and yawn escaped It was late or maybe early, one could never tell She took a step outside in nothing but a light blanket draped A cold night's touch on a naked fur soothing to our mare taking down the moon with sun raising to its place is all she can bear stepping back in and falling into the bed warmth enveloping with touch of samet Eyes now shut accompanied with light breathing And letting the mare of dreams be the one dreaming let the sounds of morning not wake the nocturnal mare let her rest in quiet and for another night prepare Give her a moment, ages for you for patience is the only truth Time in cycles travelling fiend uncatchable, from control weaned And the glass will wait, till the mare wakes when dry tongue will beckon the mare to sip letting the glass steal a kiss of her lip enjoying the little things is what living takes RE: Poems of Moon - Lightning - 13.05.2019 Makes me wish to be that glass. RE: Poems of Moon - DrakeDamage - 17.09.2019 Everlasting
On top of the hill between everfree and ponyville sits a creature thinking deeply lost in thoughts completely till the moon peeks out slowly sitting alone but not lonely For it wonders what it wondered more than once before would eternity be nothing but for a madness metaphore there sits a creature pondering wondering about life it lived before the eternity brought only a bore and nothing more what value has an endless cycle when beginning is where it ends all and none fused to one when one even time transcends so sits the creature with its thoughts thinking about past what could it do, what would it do so it would not last would you give up eternity for something you don't know would you invite the pain just to not feel hollow the creature sat on the hill and lonely did not feel until came a little pony with smile so unreal the pony sat down next to the creature did not utter a word they sat in silence, until the creature spoke on its own accord it asked the purpose of the visit it did not expext to be for it sat alone a while under branches of its tree pony smile and words she muttered incoherent at the time but the creature for what it was wasting time it did not mind so they sat there both in silence letting time pass them by under the endless blue sky everlasting with everkind Season
The first taste of autumn landed on my lips sweet like a rain born on lovers day wishing to never go away but it can not stay soon it's gone and i'm swarmed by emotions of different colors as they fly by keeping the cycle going without a rest monotony silenced, supressed and i gaze upon the chaos as it changes what i know into a new form one that has never been seen before and soon will be long gone its then that i feel first drops of fall waterdrops cascading down from heaven heights taking on me its toll reminder of lost time and wasted nights i run, through curtain of tears coming from the sky hurrying there where my heart begs me to dare dare what i know cant be changed but i can not stop i dare to try and change, dare that i could not bear for one heart a beacon, shinning light in the mist a light that becons me to go against time to stop the winter of our life i wish for autumn to last past the last leaf to bear the cold as we do the wither without succumbing to eternal dream to keep the sweet, avoid the bitter but seasons change and so do the living craving the moments of bittersweet to keep them going there is no progress without an end snow is coming, would you hold my hand RE: Poems of Moon - DrakeDamage - 01.01.2020 Change
I see the spark and hear the joy celebration of meaningless change only numbers going higher till they fall again One has ended, other began for someone said it must be done yet all that happened is but a cycle of the sun There in the tower sits another regalia gone, now free there she wonders what will be why others seem so full of glee What now when change has gone by and the outcome the question does not satisfy Does turning the tides clashes the waves of life for happines has sparks of doubt so rife Magic swirled around her horn from an ancient book a page was torn words written by the one who tore filled with despair as she once was enveloped in magic blues floated by the hearth there she dropped the omen of her past and lit it up In flames darker than any you've seen no longer was there anything to read just a pony standing there to look she couldn't bear And the weakness took its place Moonlit eyes grew too heavy tired body collapsing onto the bed but with a smile and now a clear head no longer uncertain of her ways not worried nor feeling she's to blame with royal burden taken away and freed of her nightmare dame May she take a first step For her road has no line with finish in tags Twists and turns, false ends and loops laughs and cries, smiles and whoops Life as long as she knew has past and her past now all ash and dust But like a phoenix that rises from its memory Let her hear the melody in chorus of Harmony RE: Poems of Moon - DrakeDamage - 11.08.2020 Royalty Everfree is casting shadows, hiding those in need long have i waited for chance of my vengence unleashed long it's been and they forgot. how dangerous i can be i might be on my own, abandoned, alone, but its still me Still me and only me, not what it was supposed to be Banished and hunted, pitied but feared I'll show what happens when you mess with the Queen! ...Queen with no subjects, fallen deep into spleen What use is there for a title, when nopony's here Just me and my ambitions, broken like my dreams Once i had a throne and future seemed so clear taken away were my hopes, now im lost in here What use is a command if nopony follows Why would a rose grow where nopony can see Like a rose without thorns is how i feel No prison could be worse then being seemingly free All the anger that i feel, that tears my soul apart i cannot forgive nor forget what they did to me but all this emptiness, that's filling me driving me to insanity, i miss my home in its entirety There i stood on the edge, step away from coming out of the shadow of the trees There i felt the urge to run, run back to the safety from the sun to stay here would mean defeat, drowning in regret of memories No longer can i bear my heart aching, what's done is done Blinded by desire i took what i thought deserved to be mine loosing sight of what i had i turned the other side All my hate and pride turning me into a monster they now know i wish i knew how i did end up falling so, so low Is there a chance, would anypony even try Would you safe a beast or be wary of a bite Put it on leash or lock it up i just want my nightmare to stop Take me home, please hear my plea I wish to see my kind, happy and free take me home, where my heart used to lie There's plenty for which to apologize RE: Poems of Moon - DrakeDamage - 11.10.2021 Cage
Long ago I had dreamed and wondered Whispers of the wind i pondered Whether our duality denied my royality Would our shadow fade out had it not all gone south Silence has befallen, my eyes settled Royal throne, decrepit of hope was this were would lead my lonely road Was i but a remnant when i broke and ran to hide why else would i had listened to the dark inside Darkness granted serenity But i searched for uniquity Burrowed under denial and inaction Blinded by the light of my reflection Consumed by envy succumed to wrath from light i turned casting a shadow on my path Fallen like an angel, halo crumbled what was once righteous has faltered My mind cracked and heart withered Hid away, for nothing else mattered Far away in The tower of ethernal dusk Build a pretty cage in a soul of a husk A cell without bars, prison without a key And the warden to remind me what a pretty bird i can be Locked and guarded by me no more My own reflection now nothing but an eyesore Fallen and forgotten, thus story entails Light forced me here, but darkness prevails Sold the cage for a promise of equality All i got was a hungering ferocity No show of remorse, only eyes full of pity and blaze of the sun enveloping the city Beaten and battered, hollow but seething Tis body won't fall as long as i'm breathing Curse i had brought while wishing for glory Now all i have is the ending of my story RE: Poems of Moon - DrakeDamage - 20.09.2022 Story An old mare once told a story about ache of morning dew when they took away the passion and hid all that they knew have you heard the wailing of emotions rang true when all the desperate souls are waiting for their due and what about the crying within the castle walls don't worry about the whispers adorning the halls have you heard about the princess swallowed by the keep and if you wish to save her you've got to venture deep and what about her name that only dreamers know such memories are fickle waking - their eternal foe have you heard the reason why would the little princess weep when no one remembers but those lulled into sleep an old mare once told a story that with a dream began and if a rainbow were to come her nightmare would be done Journey I got used to freezing darkness for within its walls i found solace born from the shell a husk of soul free from worry now my fate is only an allegory i met a kindred once upon before i felt a rock bottom i cracked the shell let the light in and like Pandora's box dark spilled from within in whispers came cheer and faceless tried to praise deft to the melody of crumbling fate lost was the boy only she now remains time passed and memory paled decrepit painting in attic of mind moved on the girl with pained heart took to the shadow stayed out of life seeking harmony without strife bearing a mask she took an idle path keep them out she tried turn a cheek shuffle a laugh building walls around her feeble heart until came along a piece of art colors dancing on canvas of life embedded in frame of freer mind with scars in heart and future on a split she brought a smile where birds failed to sing for the queen, or the king then gone was the muse only void left to root dance of one sad a sight resonance of hope doused the light bronze and petite primrose by eye but her heart stood like a wall impassible and cold last drop by the dawn last step before the fall dreams I've had and hopes i lost heard from the east felt the passion of the west came wind from the north with nothing of worth south swallowed the rest RE: Poems of Moon - DrakeDamage - 25.11.2023 Been a while Ferry me Charon, ferry me To the other side Long time has passed Since I've seen my kind Take me home, Oh ferryman Eternal and just Risen be the phoenix Born in ash and dust Let the fire burn Silence the wailing of the past Drag me through the Styx Let me hear her voice at last Wake me in cold and sweat Paid with coins of my eternal bed Crack the case, let me breath once more Here lies the sinner, rotten to the core Dread comes with ease Hurts everything that breathes Pain of life, what a joyous sin Harmony be damned, let the entropy in Answer me oh maiden of light Was your sister right Ferry me Maiden, ferry me Across the sky Long time has passed Since I've seen fields of rye Take me back, oh Maiden It has been a while Aeons have passed Since I've seen you smile And when day turns to night And I'll wither once more I'll remember those eyes To your heart a locked door Lay me down in satin In a wooden case And Let us cherish Our joyous sinful days Peace comes and leaves, Never a breeze, Bitter and sweet, tastes defeat Answer me, oh maiden of night What happened to the light |
