Kucykon 2023 (Polsko, Warszawa)

Ahoj!

After four long years, one of the biggest Polish brony events is back. Kucykon 2023, originally planned for 2020 and twice postponed due to Covid-19, is the second edition of the successful con taking place in Warsaw. Once again we invite you to three days of pure fun among fellow bronies, now with a cyberpunk theme!

If you want to:
- Attend various panels about the show and the fandom or see guests
- Play a wide range of board games or go on an adventure with tabletop RPG
- Take part in activities like Pony Karaoke or DDR
- Party at live concerts featuring the Brony Musicians
- Show that Fluttershy is literally you in the cosplay contest
- Spend your hard-earned money at the many vendors selling fan-made merchandise.

Then there's no better place to be this August!

I'm glad to hear that you are interested in our con   About the site... yeah, it's really basic and we are focused on our Facebook event page mostly, where you can find much more info (although only in Polish, unfortunately). But if you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer here

I've checked the web page - some of the translations are funny (sometimes, Kucykon is translated as a monastery, sometimes as PussyCon and similar ), but I got all the info that was published there.

What info I still miss:

• When does the event start and end? 4.-6.8. is clear, but knowing the hours would be nice - I suppose the Friday in the morning. The main thing is that some people plan to leave on Sunday, so we would like to plan our flights.
  
• Is there any program schedule? There is no mention of it anywhere and the website shows "Page not found"

Yeah I'm planing on attending too and it would be so useful to know hours when it officialy starts and ends and travel guide in english too

Doplním ještě odkazy, které jsou ve FB skupině (která je patrně primárním zdrojem informací):

• Jak se dostat na místo konání - obsahuje též odkazy na přehled místního MHD (pouze v PL)
  
• Vlastní grafika pro jmenovku - jen do 21.7.
  

@TechnikTomCZ: jaký je tvůj plán? S pipou se tam chystáme ve čtvrtek ráno a návrat v neděli večer (protože práce), hotel už máme zamluvený (jasně, dá se přespávat i ve spacáku na místě, ale táhnout to všechno sebou takovou dálku...). Jinak myslím, že cestovní plány v angličtině nebudou - pouze pokud si je uděláme sami což nebude zas takový problém.

A ohledně dopravy pojedu nejspíš s Wrenchem a Mirenem autem z Brna, takže aspoň bude pořádná zábava

Ale kdy pojedeme, to ještě netuším a přespávat budeme na místě.

Jo taky pojedeme autem (z Prahy), protože lety už jsou drahé.

Heh, the second one is quite a good name if we will ever decide to switch the con target 

We are finishing our program schedule and will publish it on Wednesday.

Kucykon will open its doors at 17:00 on Friday (although the official start will take place at 18:00) and will officially end on Sunday. However, the last "proper" events will take place on Saturday night, and Sunday is basically for those who are going to sleep at the convention place.

About the travel guide in English... it is already included in our development version of the website, and I hope it will be online soon. But because the time is relatively short, especially for those going by plane, I just drop the link here  EDIT: It is already on kucykon.pl

Oh, and the last, still hot and not yet officially published info: We will end the registration on July 23rd. If you miss this date, you can still visit Kucykon, but you won't get the ID with your nick printed.
