One chance

High above, there where dreams are set free
there you can find the dearest to thee
In your sleep or during endless night
if you look hard enough you might find that light

Light of kindness, warmth in winter's cold
your only chance you must tightly hold
don't let away your primrose love
only once will sit down the dove

if you're looking for those starly eyes
with truth in your heart and with no lies
and you believe that your wings will set your heart free
then go, find your dream, go tell her what you told me

tell her how you love seeing when she walks in
how you love her smile that warmth brings in
show what you feel, say what you need to say
no time to feel fear, no more time to play

The time has come, now open up your heart
some must end and others may just start

A distant star faded away
ending cycle of night and day
turning into something else
for it new cycle just begins

Faded past, incoming future and present in mist
Words without sound, two lovers had kissed
In hope of future, past left behind
And wish towards the sky to be kind

Once young, now ancient
old tree in the garden
and just as love
with time it has only hardened

One tear has fallen out of an old eye
upon a memory of long lost ones
but with love comin' from younger kin
tears of sadness and happiness are but one sin
