Tak ten tlak na všechny možný kvalitativní aspekty je větší, než kdy v historii, o tom žádná - tohle fórum a diskuze o epizodách a kreativní tvorbě jsou dostatečným příkladem, jak co není absolutně dokonalý, je pro některé lidi prostě nepřijatelné. Teda ne že by to pro mnohé z nich nebyla jen póza, ale i tak. Ostatně... ve chvíli, kdy se člověk začne životem protloukat sám, tak se tyhle pohledy často mění. Ne vždy, ale často ano - holt to patrně chce v životě aspoň jednu situaci, kdy je člověk nucen se zabývat tím, co je pro něj důležité (bohužel často to bývá spojené se silným negativním zážitkem). Což imho v dnešní době pro mnoho lidí přichází mnohem později než kdy dříve (vzpomínáte např. na rituály v různých společenstvích, kdy se chlapci stávali muži?).

Na druhou stranu, dá se na to dlabat. Čímž neříkám se nezlepšovat, ale prostě nepřepínat svoje síly. Osobně to beru tak, že důležité je věci úspěšně dokončit a co se dokonalosti týče, tak se o ni snažím jen v několika málo oblastech, jinde je mi vcelku ukradená, neb o ni neusiluji. Taky podle toho, jak na to kdo reaguje, se dají docela dobře poznávat lidi okolo.

Apropo... docela mě zaujala s tímto nepřímo související věc starší věc, a sice Nejosamělejší velryba na světě - hezká ukázka toho, že

Other whales can probably understand it. But my next question is: Why do we prescribe that emotion, and why does that emotion affect us as human beings?”

Zeman was writing a screenplay at an artists’ retreat in 2012 when he read about the whale in the galleys of a book by animal psychologist Vint Virga. While he was there, he discussed the story with some of his fellow residents; about a week after he returned home, one of them called to let him know that, “Hey, I wrote a short one-act play about that whale,” and about one week after that, a sculptor emailed to say that she had created a piece about it. Zeman, who most recently created the documentary series “The Killing Season” on A&E, found himself poring online through the multitudinous emails, letters, poems, songs and other paeans to the whale. As he did so, he saw a story in the creators and the reasons for their inspiration.

In an age where, as Zeman argues, “we eschew real interpersonal face-to-face relationships in favor of 140-character anecdotal relationships,” it is not the whale that is the lonely one. “Humans are lonely. I think that people are transferring their own loneliness onto this creature.”
